Apportionment techniques of water pollution sources by coupling the model of chemical mass balance and the procedure of nonnegative matrix factorization
|
Abstract:
It not only was important reference for environmental quality assessment and environmental risk assessment but also was essential premise for water pollution controlling and water quality protection. The models of chemical mass balance compared with the procedure of nonnegative matrix factorization, they had their advantages and limitations in identification of pollution sources. The reasonable and accurate results of source apportionment of pollutants were obtained by using of coupling with the model of chemical mass balance and the procedure of nonnegative matrix factorization, that was, the non-linear fingerprint of pollutants could be extracted with the procedure of nonnegative matrix factorization, and the accuracy contribution ratio of pollutants would be analyzed with the model of chemical mass balance. Some verified tests showed that the factor loads matrix and the factor scores matrix extracted from the coupled technique would be more efficient and credible compared with that extracted only by factor analysis model.
