Time-space simulation for sudden water pollution accidents in the lower reaches of the Minjiang River
|
Abstract:
Based on the finite element method, a hydrodynamic model and a water quality model for the lower reaches of the Minjiang River were established. After verification by coefficient calibration and model verification, the models were used for a real simulation. Using the established models, the diffusion and dispersion of pollutants in sudden water pollution accidents were simulated under the 2004 hydrological status These models can be used to quantitatively predict the time, area and concentration of pollutants in the lower reaches of the Minjiang river when pollution accidents occur.
