Photochemical degradation of hexaconazole in aqueous solution
|
Abstract:
The photochemical degradation characteristics of hexaconazole in different pH buffer, NO3- and NO-2 were studied under high-pressure mercury lamps. The results showed that the photolysis degradation of hexaconazole accorded with the first order reaction kinetics. The photolytic rates of hexaconazole in different pH values showed the following sequence: pH=7>pH=9>pH=5. The rates was also influenced by the different concentrations of nitrate or nitrite in the hexaconazole aqueous solutions. In the concentration ranges of 0 to 20 mg·L-1, the added concentrations of NO3- could increase the photolysis rates. The NO-2 could promote the photolysis rates at the concentrations of 0.4 and 2 mg·L-1, but inhibit the processes at the concentrations of 10 to 20 mg·L-1.
