A SPECIAL ACTIVATED CARBON FOR DYEING WASTEWATER TREATMENT

Abstract:
In order to increase the adsorption capability for pollutants in dyeing wastewater,a special activated carbon was generated by macerating and activating the common activated carbon.The volume of macro pores was enlarged and the catalytic function was strengthened.It has been proved by production scale test that the quality of the effluent treated with this carbon can meet the standard of wash water issued by Textile Ministry.The service life of the carbon is long and its cost is low.
