SIMULATING CALCULATION OF ELECTRICAL FIELD DISTRIBUTION FOR ELECTROSTATlC PRECIPITATORS

Abstract:
A simulating calculation method for discharge electrodes other than wire was developed based on the experimental results and existing simulating calculation method for wire. The diameter equivalent numbers for star-shaped spike and saw-tooth spike and attenuation functions for tube-type spike were defined at a condition of 300 mm in duct spacing.The method was verified using field measured data and parameters of several full scale electrostatic precipitators.
