Abstract:
Fast determination of five fractions of aluminum(total AlT, acid soluble Alr, total monomeric Ala, inorganic monomeric Al i, organic monomeric Alo) in soil solution samples under acidified and alkalized conditions by a.c.adsorptive oscillochronopotemtiometry in the presence of acid chrome dark blue (ACDB) is presented in this paper. The method is based on the different competitive complexation capacities of ACDB and natural organic matter (NOM) at two pHs 4.9 and 8.0. Inorganic monomeric Al was detected at pH 4.9 (0.5mol·L-1 NH 4Ac HAc 7×10-4 mol·L-1 ACDB), while total monomeric Al is determined at pH8.0 (0.5mol·L-1 KCl 0.1mol·L-1 Na 2B 4O 7 6×10-4 mol·L-1 ACDB). The method was successfully employed to determine five Al fractions in more than ten soil solution samples. The results were in agreement with those of Driscoll's speciation method.
