A NUMERICAL STUDY ON TIDAL EXCHANGE IN HEISHIJIAO BAY
黑石礁湾潮交换的数值研究

A numerical experiment has been performed by using Eulerian-Lagrangian method tostudy the tidal exchange in Heishijiao Bay.According to theoretical analyses,the net drift of particle in a periodic flow field is in-duced by the velocity shear and the spatial change of phase lag,so that the water exchangeoccurred in the neighboring waters,The numerical computational results indicated that thewaters exchange is strong which is advantageous to renewal of water in Heishijiao Bay.
