EFFECTS OF Pb,Hg ON ANTI OXIDATION ENZYMES IN TOBACCO LEAVES
|
Abstract:
Based on pot experiments, the authors reports the effects of Pb,Hg in soil and their interaction on the metabolism of activated oxygen in tobacco leaves. With the consistency Pb,Hg treatment, the activity of POD gradually increases, that of SOD increases at first and decreases afterwards, that of CAT gradually decreases. There is also impact on removing activited oxygen capacity of the removing system. The effect results in an imbalance of activited oxygen produce and scavenge, physiological biochemical process disorder, and accelerated process of senescence.Between Pb and Hg,there is a synergistic action and this interaction effects the metabolism of activated oxygen in tobacco leaves.
