Fugacity modeling of benzo(a)pyrene in wastewater irrigated area of Tianjin
|
Abstract:
A level of fugacity model was applied for elucidating the fate and among-phase transfer flux of benzo(a)pyrene in wastewater irrigated area in Tianjin. The results revealed that estimated concentrations of benzo(a)pyrene in air, soil, and sediment compartments were in good agreement with observed values. Soil and sediment are the primary sinks of benzo(a)pyrene in the area. There is no suitable data available for validation of calculated concentration in water. More data related to sediment are necessary for a better modeling.
