Investigation on experiment system for modeling of photochemical smog

Abstract:
In order to realize the sensitive analyse on the influence factors for formation of photochemical smog, the experimental system for modeling of photochemical smog are designed and established, which include smog chamber system, air replacing system, measuring system and controlling system. Compared with previous smog chambers, the main characteristics of this system are: (1) keeping whole chamber under the same light condition in whole experiment process; (2) high efficiency for air replacement; (3) being viable for comparative experiment of two chambers. The photochemical smog is successfully carried out by this system, and typical ozone distribution is obtained. The comparative experiment of two chambers under the same condition is also carried out, and the experiment results of two chambers are identical. It is shown that this system can be used for sensitive analyse based on the comparative experiment, which is important for further study on photochemical smog of Beijing air pollution.
