STUDY ON TRIFLURALIN ACCUMULATION IN CHIRO-NOMID LARVAE USING 14C-LABELED TECHNIQUE

(14)C-labeled technique was applied to study the accumulation of triflu-ralin in Chironomus plumosus L. larvae in laboratory microcosms. The accumulation curve appeared in "S" form and the trifluralin content in the larvae was about 9000 times as higher as that in water and 17 times as that in the sediment after 10 days when the dynamic equilibrium was reached. The accumulation rate was temperature related.
