BEHAVIOR OF 134Cs IN WATER-AZOLLA-SEDIMENT ECOSYSTEM
|
Abstract:
The variation of 134Cs in water-azolla-sediment ecosystem follows the form of exponential function. 134Cs can be absorbed by azolla and the absorption is inhibited by the presence of potassium ions. The concentration abilities of azolla varies with species: Azolla micrqphylla K. Azolla imbricata N .> Azolla filiculoides L.> Letnna minor L.> Azolla caroliniana W.. A high affinity of 134Cs on sediments was observed.
