SODA-SALINIZATION AND ENDEMIC FLUOROSIS OF SOIL
|
Abstract:
Analyses of the soil samples and ground water as well as the calculation of chemical equilibria have proved that a large amount of water-soluble fluorides have been accumulated on the surface soil and provided ground water with abundant fluorine during the process of soda-salinization. The ground water with the highest fluorine content is often related to water-soluble fluoride-rich sediments of middle pleistocene which were the products of paleo-soda-salinization.
