In this study,the mechanism of the phosphate metabolism of Pseudomonassp.was investigated. Experimental results demonstrated that pseudomonas sp.accumulated polyphosphate rapidly and extensively, which was induced bydirecting Pseudomonas sp. cultured in phosphate,sulphur and carbon starva-tion media,to phosphate-sufficient-media.
