FRACTIONATION OF SULPHUR IN SOIL AND RIVER SEDIMENT
|
Abstract:
A procedure for the fractionation of sulphur in soil and river sediment samples was developed involving sequential extraction and inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry using SI 180.74 nm line. The inorganic sulphur including water soluble, NaH2PO4 extractable, acid digestible and acid volatile sulphur, as well as organic sulphur were fractionated using this method.
