COMPUTER SIMULATION OF WATER POLLUTION
|
Abstract:
Computer simulation of water pollution is studied in this paper. The equations have been given. The experimental methods for coefficients in differential equations of water pollution have also been proposed. This kind of simulation suits to quasi-closed systems, for example, reservoir, and also a reach of a river. Flow-in volume of water is not necessarily equal to flow-out volume. It can be applied to different kinds of wastewater. It is able to simulate not only polluting process by man of a water source, but also re-polluting or-purifying process of a polluted water source. Simulated time is arbitrary. Results obtained show that in addition to general conclusions there are tabulation of dissolved oxygen and cumulative concentration of main inorganics (or refractory organics), and curve printed in coordinate paper.A simulation program with CROMEMCO-BASIC language has been provided and executed with examples.
