LEAD ENVIRONMENTAL CAPACITY OF PADDY SOIL DERIVED FROM RED EARTH
|
Abstract:
The systems of soil-crop, soil-microorganism and enzyme, and soil-water in an experimental field near a lead-zinc mine in Tao Lin, Hunan were investigated by pot trial, field-plot experiment, field test, runoff and leachate measurement, and soil enzyme and microorganism examination. Based on the criteria values of lead concentration in each system derived, the background and polluted values of soil lead content, a model was developed to calculate the environmental capacity of the paddy soils for le-ad in the area
