Numerical simulation of hydrodynamic behaviors of internal circulation bio-fluidized bed reactor
|
Abstract:
A gas-liquid two-phase model was applied to describe the hydrodynamic behaviors of reactors with seven types of structure parameters and one suit of the seven types of structure parameters was proved to be optimal by the calculation. A gas-liquid-solid three-phase model was then established to calculate the flow field of the optimal reactor. The results showed that the numerical simulation method can be used to describe the hydrodynamic behaviors of internal-circulation bio-fluidized bed reactor and to optimize the structure parameters. The length and the position of the baffle have significant influence on the hydrodynamic behaviors of liquid phase, the solid particle has little influence on the flow field of liquid phase and the high solid phase part appeared in the up-flow area.
