The effects of phenol on the decolorization of methylene blue with Fenton reagent

The decolorization of methylene blue using Fenton reagent was conducted with the on - line time monitoring of reaction process. The effects of phenol on the deeolorization rate were observed. The experimental results suggested that the process of the Fenton oxidation could be divided into three regions according to the kinetic characteristics. Then, the two kinetic models of three regions were developed.
