THE STUDY OF PHOTOCHEMICAL REACTIONS OF CFC SUBSTITUTES WITH OH RADICALS
|
Abstract:
HFC152a (CH3CHF2) and HCFC22 (CHClF2) are proposed as two alternatives for the fully halogenated chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). The long path FTIR spectrometry was used to study photochemical reactions of HFC152a and HCFC22 with OH radicals, and products and mechanisms were discussed. According to the assessment result for environmental effects and industry use prospects, the authors suggest that HFC152a can be developed into a good permanent substitute, while HCFC22 can be only used as a transient substitute in a limited period.
