Study on preparation and properties of Polyamide-ABNT hybrid
|
Abstract:
After being acidified with HCl, bentonite (ABNT) was modified with ethanolamine hydrochloride (EACl) to introduce the functional group. Acrylamide (AM) was initiated by heterogeneous redox initiator system, composed of reductive agent ABNT-EACl together with oxidant Ce4+. The bentonite/polyacrylamide inorganic-organic hybrid (ABNT/PAM) obtained was characterized by 1H-NMR and FTIR. It was found that ion bond structure (BNT-NH3R) existed. Flocculating effect of ABNT/PAM hybrid prepared in different condition was investigated by the rate decolorization measurement. It was found that flocculation efficiency of ABNT/PAM hybrid was better than that of PAM for printing & dyeing waste water.
