Wet FGD process with cheap absorbent in rotating-stream-tray scrubber

The wet FGD process in a rotating\|stream\|tray scrubber using cheap absorbent was studied experimentally, and the mass transport reaction mechanism was analyzed. Main parameters (liquid/gas ratio, pH value of the absorbent solution,inlet SO\-2 concentration, etc.) affecting SO\-2 removal efficiency were studied. The experimental data were dicussed and fitted by a regression equation. The industrial application value of these processes was studied. The technology has been used successfully in the FGD process for a boiler (35?t/h) in Suzhou Thermal Power Plant.
