Kinetics of the high temperature desulfurization with mixed iron-calcium oxides in temperature programmed processes
|
Abstract:
Based on the thermogravimetric kinetics experiments, the equivalent grain model was applied to describe kinetics behavior of reduction and sulfidation of mixed iron-calcium oxides desulfurizer. In the temperature programmed reduction and sulfidation processes, activation energies and frequency factors changed as the solid conversion increased. Compensation effect of reduction was different from sulfidation. The former was positive compensation, while the latter was negative.
