BACKGROUND VALUES OF CERTAIN ELEMENTS IN THE SOILS OF SECOND SONGHUA RIVER BASIN
|
Abstract:
In observance with requirements for specimens sampling, over 200 samples in 72 soils profiles of Second Songhua River Basin were collected. Certain elements of Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Se, Sr, and Zn were determined with atomic adsorption spectrophotometry, anodic stripping voltammetry and fluorescence spectrophotometry. Background values of these elements in dark brown forest soil, Baijiang soil, black soil, dark meadow soil and paddy soil in this basin were obtained. This paper tries to find out the influence of soil types, soil-forming rocks and utilizing condition of soils on background values, and point out the regional difference in background values of soils, and concludes that the smaller the geographic region is classified, the greater the pragmatic value of background values is.
