USE OF ATMOSPHERIC TURBIDITY COEFFICIENT FOR CHARACTERIZATION OF AIR POLLUTION
|
Abstract:
A new turbidity index of atmosphere, the turbidity cofficient of atmospheric H2 has been introduced for characterization, of air pollution. It is the difference between transparence coefficient of ideal atmosphere qb2 and integral transparence coefficient of real atmosphere P2. If the optical air mass m equals two, thenTurbidity coefficient of atmospheric H2 is definite and simple as an index which can be used to define intensity of air pollution, estimate extinction of solar radiation for air pollution, study distribution and changes in air pollution. It can also play an important part in planning environmental Protection project in connexion with atmosphere.
