Environmental molecular sciences and environmental nano-technology

Traditional molecular sciences and new advancing nano-technology are infiltrating widely into all aspects of the environmental science and technology. They activated the study on microscopic processes and mechanisms of environmental pollution phenomena to enrich the knowledge in principle and opened a pathway to develop more efficient instruments for pollution control. In this paper, the progressing environmental molecular sciences and environmental nano-technology in the world are reviewed. Some concepts for the investigation in this area in China are discussed.
