Study on Transformation of NO3- by Streptomyces chromogenes and Rhizoctonia solani
|
Abstract:
The activity of two fungus, Rhizoctonia solani and Streptomyces chromogenes, transforming NO3- into NO2- was found in this study The both of fungus directly converted (NH4)2SO4 to nitrate and then nitrate was reduced to nitrite. During the transformation, the fungus do not need inducement by nitrate and nitrite, this is different from Fusarium oxysporium, that Hirofumi Shoun et al reported before.
