Collection of DeSO2 Products with Pulsed Corona Discharge

Abstract:
The SO2 removal products were collected by the method of adding direct current bias voltage at pulsed corona discharge reactor. The experimental results show that this method is feasible. The collection efficiency increases with bias voltage and resident time rising. In this experiment, the collection efficiency is up to 95.1%. By adding direct current voltage, the pulse voltage and current waveform are not evidently changed, the pulse discharge is intensified, and the SO2 removal efficiency rises. Both high SO2 removal efficiency and effective collection of products were obtained by adding direct current bias voltage at the reactor.
