Determination of Hydroxyl Radicals in Fenton Reaction by Chemiluminescent Method and Its Application
|
Abstract:
A method for the determination of hydroxyl radicals in Fenton reaction by chemiluminescence was developed.Yeast was chosen as chemiluminescent matrix, with the concentration of 24mg/ml.When the concentrations of H 2O 2 and FeSO 4 were 24mmol/L and 5.4mmol/L,respectively and the value of pH was 2.8,chemiluminescent intensity was at its maximum. The method has been applied to the determination of hydroxyl radicals in the simulated dye wastewater treatment. It was showed that chemiluminescent intensity could be used to express characterization of degraded degree for organic matter like TOC.
