Experimental Study on the Collection of High Specific Resistivity Dusts by V-shaped Collecting Electrodes
|
Abstract:
The use of 45 to 90 degree angled V-shaped collecting electrodes in a transverse arrangement to change the configuration of collecting electrodes in an electrostatic precipitator was found to effectively separate free ions in space from charged dust particles and to reduce the current density ondust layes So that the high specific resistivity dusts with a resistivity of 1011to 1013Ω·cm could be collected. By carrying out simulated experimental study, the distribution of current density on electrodes was given for clean electrodes covered with dielectric materials of different resistivities, which were V-shaped at an angle changing between 45 and 90 degree.
