Abstract:
In order to understand seasonal variations in the distributions of suspended particulate matter (SPM), laser in-situ scattering and transmissometry was used in two cruises in the Yellow Sea and The East China Sea in July, 2006 and January 2007, respectively. Distributions of volume concentration and particle size were investigated, based on this infor- mation we present explanations according to hydrodynamic conditions.
