Effect of Compost Material Ratio on the Composting of Petroleum Waste

Abstract:
The efficiency of composting of petroleum waste was investigated at 111130 and 160 of compost material ratio(recalcitrant organic compound:degradable organic compound),using forced aeration composting technology at high temperature.The results showed that 130 was the optimum ratio.Under this condition,59.12% of petroleum removal efficiency can be attained after 28d of compost.
