STUDY ON LONG CHAIN BRANCHING IN POLYMERS BY METHOD OF SIMULATING VISCOSITY CURVE

The method of rapid evaluating parameters of long chain branching and molecular weight from GPC and intrinsic viscosity data was discussed in this paper. In this method using trial and error by computer and graphic method, the degree of branching b and critical molecular weight M of polyethylene SRM 1476 and polybutadienes was obtained simultaneously. In addition, other parameters of branch can be obtained.
