THE EFFECT OF SEGMENT COMPATIBILITY ON THE COMPOSITIONAL HOMOGENEITY OF POLYESTER-POLYETHER MULTI-BLOCK COPOLYMERS

This paper presents a study on the effect of segment compatibility on the compositional homogeneity of polyester-polyether block copolymers. A series of such block co-polymers with various segment structures were synthesized. A transparency point determination was developed as a relative semi-quantitative comparison of segment compatibility in the melt copolyeondensation.
