STUDIES ON FLAME RETADANCY OF THE ORGANOCLAY/NATURAL RUBBER NANOCOMPOSITES
有机蒙脱土／天然橡胶纳米复合材料的阻燃性能研究

The organoclay(TMT)-natural rubber(NR)nanocomposites were prepared by mixing intercalation method.The structure of organoclay was analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and FTIR.The heaf release rate and the smoke production of the TMT/NR nanocomposites are lower than those of montmorillonite/NR composites.The experimental flammability and mass loss curve were analyzed,and the flame retardant mechanism of TMT/NR was discussed.The results indicate that TMT/NR nanocomposites is a flame retardant and environmentally friend system.
