SYNTHESIS OF N-p-ACRYLOXYBENZOYLOXY SUCCINIMIDES AND THE USE OF ITS COPOLYMER FOR IMMOBILI-ZATION OF SERUM PROTEIN
|
Abstract:
Two new active esters of acrylic acids monomers, N-p-acryloxybenzoyloxy succini-mide (ABOSu) and N-p-methacryloxybenzoyloxy succinimide (MBOSu) have been synthesized and polymerized.ABOSu and MBOSu were prepared by coupling of p-acryloxybenzoic acid (ABA) or p-methacryloxybenzoie acid (MBA) with N-hydroxy succinimide in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodimide.High molecular weight poly (ABOSu) and poly (MBOSu) were obtained by radical polymerization of the corresponding monomers. The reactive poly (MBOSu-MBA) copolymer was used to immobilize the serum protion. This immobilized protein was a hopeful bioactive solid immunoadsorbent.
