The graft of PDS onto polypropylene was studied by IE, ESR, and gel formation during light irradiation (500W high pressire mercury lamp) The results show that either in air or in argon PDS can effectly graft onto the polypropylene. The possible mechnizm of graft is by way of PDS-NO. stable free radical.
