A STUDY ON THE COMPETITION ABSORPTION EFFECT OF METALLO-CONTAINING STABILIZERS IN THE FLUORESCENCE QUENCHING MECHANISM
|
Abstract:
Photostabilization effect of two metallo-containg compounds have been studied in this note. Both cobalt and nickel containing stabilizers can quench the fluorescence of ter-phenyl and anthracene in suitable wave-length. But in another excited wave-length of aromatic compound, where the absorption intensity of stabilizer can be negligible, the quenching effect of stabilizers disappear. These results indicate that, the fluorescence quenching occured is owing to the absorption competition between aromatic compound and metallo-containg stabilizers.
