Preparation of Proton Conductive Electrolyte from Poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) by Grafting Poly(sulfopropyl methacrylate)

Abstract:
Poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) grafted poly(sulfopropyl methacrylate) (PSPMA) (PVDF-HFP-g-PSPMA) copolymer as proton conductive electrolyte by atom transfer radical polymerization of sulfopropyl methacrylate (SPMA) at the secondary halogenated sites of PVDF-HFP was prepared and characterized.
