DETERMINATION OF TERTIARY AMINE END GROUP IN POLYMER BY FLUORESCENCE SPECTROSCOPY
|
Abstract:
The quenching of singlet state styrene by triethyl amine (TEA) and polymer amine (P-TEA) has been studied. The results show that there is a linear relationship between relative fluorescence intensity I0/I and concentration of amine over a wide range, and it can therefore be used to determine the amounts of the terminal amine group in polymer.
