Fast Identification and Location for Series Image of Space-borne Electro-optical Tracking System

Abstract:
To meet the demand of space-borne electro-optical tracking system, a fast identification and location algorithm was required. According to the characteristics of space-borne electro-optical tracking system and series image, fast image difference computing method based on angle changes of space-borne electro-optical tracking system was found, with calculation much reduced. After median filtering and adaptive threshold tracking algorithm, precision location for targets accomplished. Experiment results show that it is a fast stable algorithm and satisfied a real-time tracking in space-borne electro-optical tracking system.
