MCP-PMT Position-Sensitive-Device Module Based on IR-Upconversion

Abstract:
Considering the engineering application of a low duty ratio laser directing system,of which the wavelength is 1 064 nm and the pulse width is 10 ns,a novel position sensitive MCP-PMT of detecting scheme was presented.And the key technical problems such as the optimally selecting of high-efficient short- fluorescent ETMS,the design and fabrication of high-quality combined photo-cathode,etc were analyzed and solved.A principle prototype was realized by cooperation,effective testing data were achieved through a systematic tests.The technical problems existed in the principle prototype and the future solving approaches were analyzed.
