Fluorescence Spectroscopy of Photosystem Ⅱ Core Complex with Different Excitation Wavelengths at 83K
|
Abstract:
At 83 K,fluorescence spectroscopy of the core complex from Photosystem II was studied by the method of steady state fluorescence spectroscopy. The excitation wavelengths were 436 nm,480 nm, 495 nm and 507 nm respectively. The peaks of the four spectra upon different excitation wavelengths are at about 696nm.By Gaussian deconvolution analysis, different spectral bands were analyzed in spectra with different excitation wavelengths, which reflects they have different spectral properties. The way of energy transfer in the core complex of PS II is different when it is excited at different wavelengths.According to the relationship between the emission spectrum and the absorption spectrum, there are at least Chl a670.4670,Chl a684.7,685.1683 ,Chl a689.0687 and Chl a690.9,693.4,695.2,698.0690 involved in the energy transfer in the core complex of PS II .
