Numerical Study on Femtosecond Laser Pulse in Photonic Crystal Fiber

Abstract:
In order to describe the evolvement and transmission of femtosecond laser pulse in photonic crystal fiber more subtly,the variation of frequency corresponding to pulse peak power is investigated adequately,on the basis of solving GNSE by split-step fourier method.The process of the evolvement and transmission is numerically stimulated.It is found that its evolvement,transmission and band width of the supercontinuum are affected greatly by dispersion of photonic crystal fiber and the property of strong nonlinear.
