Primary Experiment and Improvement Design of Adaptive Optics System for Human Retinal Imaging
|
Abstract:
An adaptive optics retinal imaging system based on liquid crystal spatial modulator was set up and a experiment on lively human eye was made. After adaptive optics correction, the PV (peak to valley) and the RMS(root mean square) decreased from 2.293λ to 0.176 553λ,from 0.551 29λ to 0.105 11λ respectively, and the high-resolution retinal image was obtain. Thus it is proved that liquid crystal spatial modulator can be applied into the high-resolution retinal imaging. Some improving design was also presented according to the practical problem encountering in experiment such as laser speckle and illumination control.
