Abstract:

Nanostructural porous alumina films with two dimension ordered arrangements are prepared by the anodic oxidation. Influence of the conditions for the formation of the pores on the porous structure with ordered nanopore arrays, the diameter of the pores and the thickness of the films are discussed. An investigation is made on the optical transmittance,optical absorption and photoluminescence of the porous anodic alumina film. It is found that the transmittance spectra and absorption spectra of porous anodic alumina film abruptly curve at wavelength of 360 nm, the optical transmittance increases at wavelength more than 360 nm, the optical absorption increases at wavelength less than 360 nm. The photoluminescence intensity and peak position of the porous anodic alumina film depend strongly on the excitation wavelength,there is a wide blue photoluminescence band in the wavelength range of 340-600 nm.
