Distributed Fiber Optic Sensor for Oil Pipeline Leakage Detection Based on OTDR
基于光时域反射计的全分布式光纤漏油传感器

A new distributed fiber optic sensor for oil pipeline leakage detection based on OTDR was presented,which was fixed along oil pipeline and made use of characteristic of OTDR.The construction of sensor and simulate experiment were presented.The feasibility,the precise location in long distance,stability and anti-disturbance of this sensor were also discussed.The sensor can test the loss of optic fiber along fiber distance,and the distributed fiber optic sensor for oil pipeline leakage detection can detect and locate oil leakage in 15 min with the location precision being 3 m.
