Abstract:

An embedded 3-D digital imaging scheme with a digital signal processor (DSP) is presented,which is based on digital white-light projection method.This approach utilizes TMS320DM642 fix-point DSP and FPGA hardware circuit,as well as multi-threads technique to realize a pipeline process of the fringe coding,data acquisition and fringe analysis.For improving the speed of phase demodulation,the software pipeline technique is also adapted for computing unwrapped phase map.The fringe images processing speed of five step phase shifts is up to 39.7 frames per second for images of 512×512 pixels,so it can meet the need of fast fringe processing.The measure experiment shows that this system can implement fast and true measurement of 3-D profile.
