Detection of Atmospheric NO_2,SO_2 and O_3 Using DOAS with a Miniaturized Fibre-optic Spectroscopy System
|
Abstract:
A miniaturized fibre-optic differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) system for monitoring NO2,O3 and SO2 in the ambient air was presented. The system properties were described, including offset, dark current, noise, detector linearity and spectral resolution, stray light of the spectrometer.Field observations for NO2,O3 and SO2 were performed in the suburb of Hefei City during March 2006.The measurement results detected by this new system shows high correlation with those detected by DOAS2000 (Thermo Electron.).All these indicates that the system was cheap, simple, easy to operate and very suitable for the monitoring of NO2,O3 and SO2 with high time resolution and sufficient sensitivity.
