Preparation and Photoluminescence of ZnO/PAA Composites

Abstract:
A simple heating method was used to synthesize the ZnO/PAA composites.Y-2000 X-ray diffractmeter was used to measure the XRD spectra of the composites,TU-1901 Vis-UV spectrophotometer was used to measure the transmittance of the composites,WFY-28 fluorescence spectrophotometer was used to measure the photoluminescence of the composites.The results show that ZnO particles loaded in PAA are well rimed,the average diameter of ZnO particles is 10.8nm; the transmissivity of composites declines after ZnO is loaded in,the transmissivity at 550 nm is only 45%; there is only one strong photoluminescence peak at 430 nm when excited with short wavelength,the photoluminescence peak moves toward red and divides into two peaks of 410 nm and 460 nm respectively while excited with longer wavelength.
